Hello!

I'm Skye — a wife, mum of two, longtime Swiftie, iced chai/coffee enthusiast and the girl who will probably be taking photos before you’ve even realised there’s a camera out.

I grew up in Townsville, spent 10 years cheering on the NQ Cowboys, had a crack at uni (turns out, figuring out what you want to do with your life isn’t always that simple), and eventually found myself in beautiful Yeppoon, doing something I genuinely love, surrounded by the people I love.

Somewhere between raising two little humans, juggling work and trying to remember what day it is, I turned my habit of photographing absolutely everything into Skye B Media.

Honestly, I’ve always been that person with a camera out — usually just my iPhone. But becoming a mum really changed things for me. It opened my eyes to just how quickly life moves, how much changes in the blink of an eye, and how the little moments we barely think twice about today can end up meaning everything tomorrow.

And that’s what I love most about what I do. I'm not here to make you stand awkwardly in a field and smile at a camera for an hour. I want your session to feel like an adventure — a chance to be yourselves, have a laugh and embrace the chaos. Whether it’s your growing family, a new little human, a love story or a celebration worth remembering, I want you to walk away with more than just pretty pictures. I want you to remember how it felt.

A little heads-up, though: I’m bubbly and chatty, but also slightly introverted. I will probably say something that makes absolutely no sense because I've spent my day with toddlers who also make absolutely no sense. I tend to get up and personal to move your hair in the right spot and fix your outfit, and I love my kids more than anything, but motherhood? Well, some days deserve their own award - So I will never have high expectations of yours to cooperate.

If you’re after perfectly polished, Pinterest-perfect everything, I might not be your girl.
